Ethereum reached a new high this morning, reaching $2441, a 9.4% increase in the past 24 hours. Layer2 concept coins also performed well, with OP and ARB both experiencing nearly 20% increases.

With the progress of Ethereum’s upgrade, known as the London hard fork, ETH has gained momentum. At around 8:45 am this morning, Ethereum reached a new high of $2441, a 9.4% increase in the past 24 hours.

With Ethereum leading the charge, Layer2 concept coins have also performed impressively:
– OP broke through $4, reaching a historic high and increasing by 18.7% in the past 24 hours.
– IMX is currently priced at $2.49, experiencing a 5.6% increase in the past 24 hours.
– ARB is currently priced at $1.58, with a 19.7% increase in the past 24 hours.
– MNT is currently priced at $0.638, with a 9.4% increase in the past 24 hours.
– METIS is currently priced at $92.23, with a 12.4% increase in the past 24 hours.
As for Bitcoin, BTC has been fluctuating upwards since yesterday noon, reaching a high of $43,787 at 8:30 am. It has increased by 2.68% in the past 24 hours. However, compared to Ethereum, Bitcoin’s increase has been relatively weaker.
The surge in Ethereum has also resulted in many short positions being liquidated. According to Coinglass data, the total amount of liquidations in the cryptocurrency market in the past 24 hours exceeded $170 million, with over 59,000 investors being liquidated. ETH accounted for $54.51 million, while Bitcoin accounted for $29.76 million.
