Bitcoin broke through $43,800 last night and is currently hovering around $43,500. Ethereum, on the other hand, is relatively weak. Solana (SOL), which has been strong recently, reached a high of $126.36 earlier, setting a new high for the year.
Bitcoin (BTC) was trading within a narrow range around $43,000 yesterday. However, around 9 PM, it suddenly surged and broke through $43,800. However, selling pressure emerged afterwards, and as of the deadline, it is reported at $43,542, up 1.08% in the past 24 hours.
Ethereum (ETH), on the other hand, has shown much weaker performance. After briefly breaking through $2,300 last night, it quickly declined and is reported at $2,272 as of the deadline, up 0.07% in the past 24 hours.
It is worth noting that Solana (SOL), which has been very strong recently, surged again around 2 AM today, reaching a high of $126.36, setting a new 20-month high and a weekly increase of over 60%. It has slightly declined since then and is now reported at $120.39, up 8.52% in the past 24 hours.
Data from CoinMarketCap shows that most of the other top ten cryptocurrencies have also experienced gains in the past 24 hours.
