Today (21st), the well-known social platform X (formerly known as Twitter) experienced a massive outage during the afternoon. Users continuously reported that they were unable to view post content on their computers and phones. According to the real-time data from the disconnection tracking website Downdetector, there have been as many as 150,000 error reports within the past hour.
Currently, the extent of the impact on X and the cause of the error are still uncertain. However, users can currently only see their own or others’ account information while browsing, and all related posts have disappeared.
Update at 14:00: X Twitter seems to have returned to normal, but neither the official nor Musk has come forward to explain the cause of the incident.
