Ethereum founder Vitalik recently mentioned Zuzalu in a reply to a tweet, resulting in a surge in the price of the meme coin with the same name. It experienced a daily increase of over 500%, and a trader who bought it immediately made a profit of over 400 times.
Zuzalu, a meme coin associated with Vitalik Buterin, the founder of Ethereum (ETH), has recently gained significant attention, with its price surging nearly five times in the past 24 hours. The cryptocurrency community is calling it the “Meme Season” of cryptocurrencies.

The surge of Zuzalu was driven by Vitalik’s tweet. How could the meme coin Zuzalu skyrocket within a short period of time? This can be attributed to Vitalik’s response to a community member on the X platform.
On January 14th, a Twitter user named optimizoor retweeted an article titled “Why I Built Zuzalu,” which Vitalik published on October 6, 2023, with the comment:
“Vitalik explains why he built Zuzalu.”
Later, Vitalik replied to that tweet, saying:
“It was a fun experiment. Glad you found it interesting!”
However, it was precisely Vitalik’s response that caught the attention of the community. One trader, after seeing the tweet, immediately spent 0.4 ETH (approximately $1,031) to purchase 58 million Zuzalu coins and made a profit of up to $490,000 within three days.
What is Zuzalu?
According to a member participating in Zuzalu, Zuzalu is a grand two-month-long cryptocurrency gathering held in a bay city in Montenegro. It allows members to freely discuss all topics related to cryptocurrencies, and it is known for its high concentration of talent. Vitalik played a key role in the success of Zuzalu.
