ETHTaipei 2025 will be grandly held at the POPOP Taipei (Nangang Bottle Cap Factory) on April 1 and 2, 2025. As the third edition of ETHTaipei, this year marks the first partnership with the internationally renowned hackathon organizer ETHGlobal, jointly creating a two-day conference and a three-day hackathon.
A highlight of the event is the participation of Vitalik Buterin, who has not been seen in public for some time; he will engage in face-to-face discussions with Taiwanese developers, promising numerous surprises.
The conference will focus on cutting-edge Ethereum technologies, gathering global speakers in Taipei. The official conference lasts for two days, on April 1 and April 2. Numerous heavyweight speakers have been invited, among whom Vitalik Buterin is the most anticipated. He will deliver a keynote speech and participate in several panel discussions, sharing insights about the latest technological developments in the Ethereum ecosystem.
Although Vitalik has kept the topic of his speech a secret, only revealing that “it will be a surprise,” this has already generated high expectations within the industry.
The agenda of the conference is divided into two main themes: “Decentralized Finance (DeFi)” and “Protocol Technologies.” More than 40 experts from well-known international teams, including the Ethereum Foundation, Arbitrum, Zircuit, Uniswap, and Polygon, will provide in-depth sharing on diverse topics covering RWA (Real World Assets), information security, blockchain privacy, AA Wallet (smart contract wallet), ZK (zero-knowledge), MEV, and Layer 2 scalability solutions.
In addition, several technical workshops will be arranged for hands-on practice, allowing participants to learn Ethereum blockchain technology from scratch and to create their own innovative projects. To further expand international participation, ETHTaipei is collaborating with the renowned Ethereum ecosystem event team ETHGlobal for the first time this year. The ETHGlobal Taipei hackathon will follow the ETHTaipei conference, taking place from April 4 to 6 at the same venue (Bottle Cap Factory).
