ETHTaipei 2024, the Ethereum Developers Conference organized by ETHTaipei, will return to Taipei from March 21st to 24th. Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum and also known as V God, has confirmed that he will personally come to Taiwan to give a speech and share the latest developments and trends in Ethereum.
Last year in April, the first ETHTaipei Ethereum Developers Conference was held in Taipei, attracting thousands of developers from around the world to exchange cutting-edge Ethereum technology and receiving unanimous praise. To continue the success of last year’s event, ETHTaipei 2024 will be held again from March 21st to 24th.
Vitalik Buterin, the founder of Ethereum, will personally come to Taiwan to give a speech and share the latest developments and trends in Ethereum. V God is one of the most influential leaders in blockchain technology globally, and his speech will be a highlight of this conference. At the same time, as the Dencun upgrade, which is crucial for the future of Layer 2, formally incorporates EIP-4844 into Ethereum, Vitalik will also discuss the progress and future of Ethereum network scalability with other Layer 2 technical leaders.
The event will last for four days, including two days of international seminars and three days of hackathons. The seminars will focus on hot topics such as ZK, DeFi, and Security, and will invite experts and scholars from well-known teams such as Ethereum Foundation, Perpetual Protocol, Geth, Gnosis, and Dedaub to give speeches. The topics will cover Ethereum upgrades, MEV, Layer2, DeFi, AA, information security, etc., and panels will be arranged for industry elites to share insights and spark more ideas.
The hackathon will start on the evening of March 22nd, providing a 24-hour Hacker House on-site. Developers will need to complete works on selected topics within 40 hours to compete for the rich prizes provided by different companies. The hackathon is free to register, and various workshops will be held during the hacking period, allowing developers to not only learn from each other but also have the opportunity to directly interact with the industry. This year, there are also opportunities for job matching, where participants not only have the chance to earn prize money but also receive job offers.
ETHTaipei is jointly initiated by nine passionate developers, including the most influential figure in Taiwan’s blockchain industry, Perpetual Protocol co-founder Feng Yanwen, imToken Chief Scientist Chen Changwu, Furucombo founder Zhu Xuanting, Diamond Protocol co-founder Anderson Chen, and Quantstamp Developer Relations Manager Li Songsheng.
This ETHTaipei event has also partnered with many well-known companies, including Nuvo, XY Finance, Consensys, MintClub, Ora, BTSE, Lita, Zircuit, Harvest Finance, Dyson Finance, Term Structure, etc., who will set up booths on-site to introduce the latest blockchain products and engage in communication with developers.
