JPEX Taiwan spokesperson Chen Ling Jiu is in high spirits! Today, Taiwanese media revealed that Chen Ling Jiu has emerged from the shadow of JPEX and has entered into a passionate relationship with Miusa, the daughter of Wu Chung-hsien. This has sparked anger from the JPEX victim community, who criticized Chen Ling Jiu for enjoying himself while they are still suffering from debt collection.
Chen Ling Jiu, whose real name is Chen Zhihao, has been serving as the JPEX Taiwan spokesperson. Besides having a successful career in the entertainment industry, he also has a good understanding of cryptocurrency. He previously founded the NFT community Yolocat and worked with his peers to explore various tracks. However, after being caught up in the JPEX fraud scandal, he publicly stated that he was considering staying away from cryptocurrency.
According to Taiwanese media reports, it seems that Chen Ling Jiu has already moved on from the JPEX incident and has started a romantic relationship with Miusa, the daughter of Wu Chung-hsien. On March 1st, reporters captured them returning to Chen Ling Jiu’s residence together, where they spent a joyful time of 17 hours and 48 minutes. It is worth mentioning that this location was previously a sweet space shared by Chen Ling Jiu and his ex-girlfriend Lin Zhiying.
Wu Chung-hsien, who considers Miusa as his fourth daughter, first portrayed himself as an open-minded father. He stated that he would not interfere in the affairs of young people and mentioned that Miusa had previously informed him about her music collaboration with Chen Ling Jiu, indicating that he is aware of his “daughter’s” progress. However, Wu Chung-hsien later made sarcastic comments about whether it was a music collaboration or a romantic relationship.
In fact, due to the JPEX incident, Chen Ling Jiu was previously summoned by the Investigation Bureau as a witness. At that time, he claimed that he was only responsible for endorsement as contacted by Liu Bo-liang, the manager of Rolling Stone Records. He also stated that he was a victim himself and suffered a 15% loss in assets.
However, many Taiwanese victims have expressed that they invested in JPEX because they believed in Chen Ling Jiu’s endorsement, resulting in significant losses. Last week, the victims filed a complaint with the Taipei District Prosecutors Office against Chen Ling Jiu for offenses under the Banking Act. As a result, Chen Ling Jiu’s status was changed from a witness to a defendant in the “investigation case,” making him the first artist in Taiwan to be named as a defendant.
According to a report by Hong Kong 01, as of February 20th, 70 individuals involved in the JPEX case have been arrested, and the amount involved has exceeded HKD 161 million. The police stated that the investigation into the case is still ongoing and there is a possibility of more arrests. The Criminal Department is actively following up on the progress of the investigation and will continue to communicate with the individuals involved.
Upon seeing this news, many Hong Kong and Taiwanese communities expressed their anger towards Chen Ling Jiu. They complained on various platforms that while the victims are still struggling to collect their debts, spokesperson Chen Ling Jiu can enjoy himself with his new love interest.
