According to the whitepaper, the total supply of HSK tokens is 1 billion, with token distribution as follows: 650 million for ecosystem growth, 300 million for the team, and 50 million for the insurance reserve.
The ongoing VIP program has already attracted significant interest, with a total of 1,733 purchases, far exceeding the total issuance of 280 cards. In addition to the VIP program, new users who complete the “Registration+KYC+First Trade” process will also have the opportunity to receive up to 25 HSK tokens. The following steps will provide a detailed guide on how to register and complete KYC on HashKey Exchange.

Step 2: Click on this link or the “Register” button on the top right corner of the homepage to directly access the registration page.
Choose to create an account using email or phone number, enter a password, and optionally enter the referral code “nVXo4L”. Click “Create Account” to complete the registration. Successful registration and completion of new user tasks (KYC verification + first trade) may qualify for up to 25 HSK token rewards.
Step 3: After successful registration, enter your account credentials (username and password) to log in to the platform. Click on the person icon on the top right corner of the homepage to access the account overview page. Click on the “Identity Verification” button and select “Start Verification” under the “Personal Verification” section.
Personal verification requires binding an email or phone number. Enter the email/phone number and click “Send”. Enter the verification code received via email/phone and click “Confirm” to complete the binding.
HashKey Exchange, as a leading compliant cryptocurrency exchange in Hong Kong, has a personal KYC mechanism comparable to that of the banking industry. The personal verification process consists of three main parts:
– Document and facial recognition
– Personal information, address proof, and financial information:
– Note: The platform does not support customers from sanctioned countries/regions listed in the image. Customers residing in jurisdictions that do not have restrictions on virtual assets can be accepted, provided that the address proof and phone number are not from unsupported countries/regions, including Mainland China, the United States, Malaysia, etc.
– Transfer to HashKey Exchange (Hong Kong):
– A single transfer amount of no less than HKD 10,000 or the equivalent in USD is required to complete the identity verification. It is recommended to transfer at least USD 1,400.
Please note: Users who choose the “Offline Verification” method can skip the step of transferring $1,400 via bank transfer.
Step 4: The personal verification process on HashKey Exchange includes both “Online Verification” and the newly added “Offline Verification” method.
Online Verification: Requires a transfer of HKD 10,000 or the equivalent in USD to HashKey Exchange (Hong Kong). Currently, online verification is only supported for bank accounts in the 16 regions shown in the image. If you confirm that you hold a bank account eligible for online verification, click “Yes”.
Offline Verification: If not, click “No” to proceed with the offline verification process.
The following sections will explain the processes for online and offline verification.
Online Verification requires a bank account in one of the regions listed in the image.
Step 5: First, complete the “Basic Information Verification” and the “Investment Experience and Virtual Asset Knowledge Test” in order.
Basic Information Verification:
– Upload an official identification document issued by your country of nationality. For Taiwan users, only passports are accepted.
– Facial recognition verification

– Address proof submission: Based on tests, Taiwan users can provide bank statements within the past three months, as well as utility bills (water or electricity bills). The documents should clearly and completely display the personal name and residential address information.

Investment Experience and Virtual Asset Knowledge Test:
– Before filling out the investment preference questionnaire, read the instructions (as shown in the image below). After reading, click “Start” to begin the questionnaire.

1. Investment Preference Questionnaire:
– Note: The platform only provides services to customers with a risk assessment of “Aggressive” or “Very Aggressive”. Therefore, when answering the questions, choose investment strategies that lean towards these two types to increase the chances of passing the test. (The test can only be taken three times within 30 days)
– In addition, if the “Percentage of other platform virtual assets in net assets” is filled with a percentage higher than 30% and the customer is certified as a retail investor, they will not be able to trade on the platform.
2. Virtual Asset Knowledge Test:
– During testing, if a wrong answer is selected, the screen will display an error message and allow you to learn the correct knowledge. After confirming that all answers are correct, click “Submit” to pass the test.
Step 6: After completing the “Basic Information Verification” and “Investment Experience and Virtual Asset Knowledge Test,” you can proceed with the “Bank Transfer Verification.”
Currently, only bank accounts in the supported regions (Hong Kong (China), Singapore, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Malaysia, Norway, Portugal, and Sweden) are eligible for bank transfer verification. Ensure that the bank account used for the transfer is in the same name as the registered user. The transferred amount (after deducting the transfer fee) must be more than HKD 10,000 or the equivalent in USD (recommended to be above USD 1,400) to complete the transfer verification.
The following steps will explain the offline verification process, which is more suitable for most Taiwanese users. One major advantage of offline verification is that it does not require a bank account in Hong Kong or specific countries, eliminating the need for a transfer of HKD 10,000/USD 1,400.
Offline Verification requires making an appointment with HashKey Exchange’s official offline account opening service. The account opening can be completed as soon as the next day. The following steps will guide you through the offline verification process:
Step 6: First, complete the “Basic Information Verification” and “Investment Experience and Virtual Asset Knowledge Test” as mentioned above. Click on “Offline Verification” and then click “Confirm” in the pop-up window to switch to the offline verification process.
Step 7: After confirming the switch to offline verification, click “Start Verification.”
Step 8: Taiwanese users should choose “Accountant/Lawyer Certification” and select the first option, “Authorize a third-party accountant/lawyer to contact you for verification.” Users currently residing in Hong Kong can choose “Hong Kong Employee Certification” and receive on-site assistance from HashKey Office staff in Hong Kong. After making the selection, click “Next.”
Step 9: Fill in the mobile number, email, and name consistent with the registration and KYC information. Check the agreement box and click “Submit” to complete the appointment.
Step 10: HashKey provides an accelerated appointment link for offline verification. Click the link and choose the desired appointment time.

Enter user information: name, email, HashKey Exchange UID, and Telegram account. Users need to prepare the following documents: passport and original address proof within the past three months (bank statements and utility bills showing the address and name).
The offline verification process takes about 5 minutes, and after completion, you will sign account opening documents. The official will guide you to upload documents and provide details for sending/submitting physical documents (account opening application form, passport copy, address proof copy) to the Hong Kong office.
