Binance Exchange Announces Launch of Second Round of Voting for Token Listings

Following the completion of the first round of the “Voting for Token Listing” activity, Binance issued another announcement on the evening of the 2nd, stating that the second round of voting has officially begun. Binance users can now enter Binance Square and participate in the voting under the official announcement of the event.

Binance emphasized that all projects in this voting for token listing have been listed in the Binance Alpha Observation Zone. When making the final assessment for listing, Binance will evaluate the projects based on the following criteria:
- Trading demand, especially the trading volume in Binance’s futures market and Binance Alpha Zone
- Results from community voting activities
- Historical performance of the token
- Fundamental analysis
- Compliance investigation
- Risk assessment
How to Participate in Voting?
Voting time: From April 2, 2025, 21:30 Taiwan time to April 10, 2025, 7:59.
- Users must log in to a verified Binance account and hold at least 0.01 BNB during the voting period.
- Each user can vote for up to 5 projects.
- Each user can only cast one vote per project.
- Votes are only valid if cast under the official activity announcement in Binance Square.
- The voting results will not ultimately determine whether a token will be listed.

Impact of the First Round Voting on Token Prices
Binance initiated its first token voting on March 23 and announced the results on the 28th. A total of 4 major projects, including MUBARAK, BROCCOLI714, TUT, and BANANAS31, were listed on Binance’s spot market.
However, upon observing the prices of these tokens, most peaked after the voting began on the 23rd but failed to sustain their highs, continuing to fluctuate downward after being listed on Binance (as illustrated by the example of MUBARAK below).
As a result, some investors have raised doubts about whether Binance’s voting for token listing activities can genuinely bring substantial benefits to the projects. Some have even stated that the voting activities are essentially meaningless, merely aimed at boosting user engagement on Binance and attracting capital to the BNB chain, with the ultimate token listings serving only to provide liquidity for large holders to cash out…
