Upon entering the game, players can board the ship and start the battle from the red frame in the image below. The game controls are displayed at the bottom right corner of the screen (WSAD represents forward, backward, left, and right, space bar to jump).

Set Sail (Battle)

At this point, players are divided into two roles depending on whether they own a ship’s NFT:

• Captain: Players who own the NFT can create a guild and become a captain, leading the crew into sea battles.
• Crew Member: Players without an NFT can join as crew members, responsible for repairs, firing cannons, and other tasks. Crew members can also earn various rewards through battles.

When players board the pirate ship, the screen looks like the one below. There are three cannon turrets on each side of the ship for attack, and cannonballs are available on the deck for players to load the turrets. Once at sea, cooperation between players is required to collect treasure and fend off incoming enemies.

Resource and Economy System

When players collectively defeat sea monsters, pirate ships, or other enemy units, treasure will drop at the location, which needs to be collected by the ship. The treasure contains various resources (gold coins, Nuggies, blueprints, materials, mXP). Players need to accumulate resources through treasure collection to improve their character and pirate ship’s strength.

In-Game List

In battle, you can open the list by pressing the Esc key. The list will display information such as the number of spoils collected, contribution points, and maps. Based on the list, you can decide whether to head to the extraction point for settlement or continue fighting on the map.

Settlement Screen

Once the pirate ship accumulates enough wealth, the captain can choose to sail the ship to the extraction point (indicated by the red beam). Upon arrival, the system will distribute the collected materials based on contribution points. This ensures that players won’t lose too many spoils during PVP battles (if the pirate ship is sunk, 70% of the spoils are lost).

Talent System

Each time a player levels up, they earn one talent point. Talents are divided into three branches: Tactics, Demolition, and Repair. Players can choose upgrades based on their preferences, but we recommend concentrating talent points in one branch. For example, I have invested all my talent points into the Repair branch, focusing on repairing the ship when at sea.

mXP to Abstract XP Conversion

Before playing, players must bind their Abstract address to KAP Games, otherwise, they won’t be able to convert points. mXP earned during gameplay is a key channel for converting to Abstract XP. Players need to manually claim their mXP points on the Captain & Company website for conversion.

mXP is converted to a certain amount of Abstract XP every Tuesday, though the conversion rate varies each week. The official team will distribute Abstract XP according to the total mXP earned by all players in a given week. The more mXP you earn, the more Abstract XP you will receive.

Gameplay Experience

Captain & Company is a multiplayer cooperative game. It’s recommended to select a pirate ship with a large crew that is active in the game, as it’s difficult to handle ship steering, cannon firing, and repairs alone.

From my experience, most players prefer to steer the ship and fire cannons. That’s why I specialize in repairs. Since rewards are divided based on contribution points, teamwork is essential. Let’s work together to find the great treasure!

Roach Racing Club

Roach Racing Club is a racing game on the Abstract blockchain that combines gaming and trading. The game revolves around “cockroach racing,” where players participate by guessing the price trend of a certain cryptocurrency (e.g., BTC, ETH). The top three winners receive MTGN points as rewards.

The homepage of the game has three features:

• Main Page: View current stamina, upgrade cockroach, and start the race.
• Friends: By inviting friends, you can earn 10% of the points earned by your friends.
• Tasks: Complete various social tasks to earn in-game MTGN points.

Game Screen and Mechanics

When the game starts, players can use the “UP” and “DOWN” buttons at the bottom right to predict whether the price will rise or fall. If they guess correctly, the cockroach’s running speed increases, helping them overtake the opponents. If they guess wrong, the speed decreases, allowing opponents to catch up. The greater the price fluctuation and the further the price is from the player’s guess, the greater the effect.

The advantage is that when most players are betting on low multipliers, you can predict a high multiplier and gain a lead towards the finish line. If most players are betting on high multipliers, you can use several small accelerations to extend your lead in case the market doesn’t behave as expected.

Gigaverse

Gigaverse is an RPG game developed by the GLHFers team and built on the Abstract blockchain, combining classic RPG mechanics with modern blockchain innovation. It aims to provide players with an endlessly expanding game universe while continuing to add more game content.

Character Minting

Before starting, players need to mint their own character by spending 0.00369 ETH (around $8).

Entering the Game

After minting the NFT character, players will be spawned in a dungeon. The character is controlled with the mouse, and there are jars around the character that currently cannot be broken.

If you’re wondering why there are no destructible objects or monsters in the dungeon, move your character down the map until you find a lever, rotate it, and then head to the upper part of the map to enter the dungeon for challenges.

• Gigus Mode: In this mode, players face stronger enemies, and the drops are rarer. Due to the higher difficulty, it is recommended to participate later in the game.

Gigaverse ROMs NFT

Magic Eden also offers exclusive Gigaverse NFTs for players. Purchasing ROMs NFTs will increase the character’s energy limit, allowing players to challenge more dungeons.
