ICC successfully held the launch ceremony of the ICC Camp accelerator program and web3 game-related activities at the Hong Kong Web3.0 Entrepreneur Conference and Web3.0 Security Technology Summit on December 20-21.
During the Hong Kong Web3.0 Tech Week, which took place at the Hong Kong Cyberport in December, ICC, a pioneering technology company focusing on the web3 game sector, successfully organized the launch ceremony of the ICC Camp accelerator program and web3 game-related activities at the Hong Kong Web3.0 Entrepreneur Conference and Web3.0 Security Technology Summit.
On the morning of December 21 at 10 o’clock, the ICC Camp launch ceremony officially kicked off at the Hong Kong Web3.0 Security Technology Summit. With the countdown ending, the accelerator program was officially launched. ICC Camp will actively respond to the policy support of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government, make full use of Hong Kong’s advantageous location and market opportunities, perfect legal and regulatory systems, talent incentives, and policy support, and expand the project’s impact to attract more startups dedicated to the web3 game field, painting a promising future for them. The launch ceremony was attended by Kevin Shao, an advisor to ICC, Executive President of ABGA, partner of Web3Labs, and founder of Bitrise Capital. It was also attended by Wu Jiezhuang, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and member of the Hong Kong Legislative Council; Kong Jianping, founder of Nano Labs and director of Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited; Huang Junlang, co-founder and CEO of Web3Labs; Jademont Zheng, founder of Waterdrip Capital and co-founder of Satoshi Lab; and Kevin Ren, Asia partner of Japan CGV Fund and founder of AIFocus Accelerator.
Earlier, at the “Hong Kong Web3.0 Entrepreneur Summit” organized by Web3Labs, ABGA, Satoshi Lab, ICC Camp, and AIFocus, and co-organized by Techub News, iPollo, and MetaEra, Kevin Shao, an advisor to ICC, Executive President of ABGA, partner of Web3Labs, and founder of Bitrise Capital, gave a keynote speech titled “Opening a New Chapter for Web3 Games,” delving into the current status and future of the web3 game industry. He emphasized that blockchain games will be widely adopted and that blockchain technology will naturally integrate into games, giving individuals true ownership of virtual assets.
Additionally, during the panel discussion on “Exploring the Future of Web3 Games: Digital Assets and Innovative Economic Models,” Simon Li, Executive Vice President of ABGA and founder of Chain Capital, discussed the current trends in web3 game development, the role of digital assets in game development, the potential combination of the web3 game sector with the NFT market, and innovative economic models for the web3 game market in 2024.
